The eternal skin care Canadian company Marcelle changed its look recently. The design mandate was given to Nolin BBDO. The concept was based on models black and white photography. Each of the three models represents respectively the Essential line, the Hydra-C and the New-Age lines. The photographs are very nice and so are the models. I thought the woman hey picked to represent the “New-Age” line was very funny. She looks about 24 years old. That made me wonder how they could possibly call the line for women between 30 and 60 years old: the Too-Old line?
Anyway, as far as the design is concern, it is certainly an improvement compare to the old version, but at the same time, I don’t think it’s a milestone in Canadian graphic design.
